Fibre-Clad® Cavity Membrane Drainage System is a waterproof thermal insulating barrier against dampness and moisture. The system is designed to allow the flow of hydrostatic ground water between the substrate and the impermable Fibre-Clad® Membrane whilst creating an airflow across it - and is comprised of three main components.
Fibre-Clad® impermeable studded sheet membrane is manufactured from high density polyproplete, and attached to the internal cellar walls using watertight compression plugs.
Sub floor drainage channel is installed at all perimeter cellar wall to floor joints and connected to a sump pump for discharge (See Hydro-Impellor sump pump)
